This policy describes how X-I Nouvelle-France Inc. ("we") handles personal information in connection with this site, in accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1).
Information we collect
This site embeds no audience-measurement tools and contains no forms. A single, strictly functional cookie is used: it stores your language preference (French or English) when you use the language switcher and, where applicable, your choice of regional site version. These cookies contain no personal identifier and are not used for any tracking.
The only personal information we process is what you send us voluntarily, for example when you write to us by email (name, email address and the content of your message).
The site's hosting provider may keep technical logs (including IP addresses) for security and operational purposes, for a limited time.
Use of information
Information sent by email is used solely to answer your request and follow up on our exchanges. It is neither sold nor disclosed to third parties, unless required by law.
Retention and hosting
Information is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then deleted. It may be hosted on servers located outside Québec; where that is the case, we ensure it receives adequate protection.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, its rectification or its deletion, by writing to the address below. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
